Nice to meet you! I love nothing better than laughing, sharing a good bottle of wine and throwing myself into my passions. Speaking of passions, I have a few, but hopefully you are here to share my love of photography. I can be quirky, quick witted and enjoy the company of good friends.
Why ‘fleur foto’? Well, truth be told that I was nearly called ‘Fleur’ instead of ‘Laura’, but at the last moment my Mum reasoned with my Dad that in Scotland I would never get ‘Fleur’ and instead would get called Flora, or some hideous mispronunciation. As a result, I have a double barreled first name of Laura Fleur, the latter part of which I never used….until now of course!
And ‘foto’? Well, let’s just say I am not one to follow the rules and alliteration makes me smile, ok?
I am a full-time working mother of two young boys who are the apples of my eye. I am always on the go and fill as much into 24 hours that I can – be that checking someone’s car seat (I am a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician), running a foundation (Kyle David Miller Foundation) or photography. I also talk with an accent, but please don’t hold that against me.
I moved to the New England area in March 1997 for what was supposed to be a 4 week business trip. That 4 weeks turned into 8 weeks, during which time I met my husband, then 1 year and here I am still. I am located in Southern NH, though will travel throughout the surrounding area – just send me a note to see if we can make arrangements in your area.
